Question: Explain the difference between the times Willy wants to be a boy and when she wants to be a girl.


Answer: When Willy wants to be a boy is when she is in a place where only men/boys are or when she doesn't want to be bossed around by man/boys all the time. Also For example when she was helping her father go to the fort she told her mother "I can do it ma" as ahe was dressed as a boy.

When she wants to be a girl is when man can't really kill her. For example she was in the fort and the british came in killing everybody.The a british man came to her, was going to kill her but then she said "Please don't kill me. I'm a girl not a boy."

• For the African Americans what mattered most was freedom.
• The British actively recruited slaves (the slaves were Black people)
• More Blacks fought in this war.
• An estimated 100,000 African Americans escaped, died, or were killed during the American Revolution.
